SOLAR THERMAL INSTALLER
TSG Technologies, an Alternative Technology Solutions provider currently seeks a motivated Solar Thermal Installer for our location in Calgary, AB. We are seeking a hard-working individual to work in the field installing both residential and commercial solar hot water and heating systems in the Southern Alberta and South Eastern BC areas.

Desired Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic, self motivation, organized and a can-do attitude
- Good at problem solving and implementing ideas
- Team player who listens, learns, and actively communicates
- At least 1-2 years of experience in mechanical installations and general construction
- Committed to quality workmanship
- Comfortable with ladder work and working on roofs
- Able to lift at least 75 lbs
- Willing to work in extreme environments such as hot roofs/attics and cold weather
- Understanding of safe work habits
- Desire to learn and master all aspects of installing solar thermal systems
Position Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Perform project installations including:
- Loading vehicles with proper tools and equipment
- Driving company vehicles as required
- Rooftop mounting of racking and solar collectors
- Installation of tanks and other interior equipment
- Plumbing all solar equipment
- Wiring all solar control equipment
- System commissioning and operation verification
- Completing project documentation
- Perform system service as required
- Unloading equipment deliveries
- Trash / Recycling
- Organizing shop / pre-assembly of parts
- Tool maintenance
- Truck maintenance
- Inventory control as required
